Andrea Bower’s work crosses media and subject matter. Her work unites through a shared characteristic of empathy and the use of words and images as powerful tools to incite awareness begetting change. Often depicting social, environmental, and political subjects, Bowers embraces imagery from the past to continue the conversation while reminding us of the work of the people that came before.
Acquiring this work from Vielmetter Los Angeles was impactful in the holistic program of Blake Street House not only for its social message, but also for its incredible artistic expression in the composition.
