Blake Street House
An art-focused private members club by the team at Ropeswing Hospitality. An expansive renovation and expansion of property. Art became a primary focus from the beginning. We served as art advisor for the collecting, placement, commission, and educational opportunities surrounding the arts.
The collection includes over 175 pieces from emerging and established artists. Highlights include works by Nick Cave, Robert Longo, David Smith, Sarah Cain, Matt White, Paola Pivi, Andrea Bowers, Billy Childish, and many more.

Andrea Bower’s work crosses media and subject matter. Her work unites through a shared characteristic of empathy and the use of words and images as powerful tools to incite awareness begetting change. Often depicting social, environmental, and political subjects, Bowers embraces imagery from the past to continue the conversation while reminding us of the work of the people that came before.
Acquiring this work from Vielmetter Los Angeles was impactful in the holistic program of Blake Street House not only for its social message, but also for its incredible artistic expression in the composition.
