The Fontanel at White’s Creek
What if a legacy property—rich in sense of place—could be reimagined as a creative refuge for art, hospitality, and imagination?
As Creative Director, we collaborated closely with property ownership, architects, interior designers, landscape planers, and the food-and-beverage team to envision The Fontanel at White’s Creek—a luxury art and recreation resort route din former Barbara Mandrell land. In lieu of a conventional pitch, we crafted a fictional scrapbook that imagined a guest’s sensory experience—a guide to the feelings we intended the resort to evoke, even as the project faced pandemic-related interruption and was never completed. Our approach centered taste, cohesion, and storytelling at every touchpoint.
Even in its unrealized from, the project became an act of creative preservation—an imaginative layering of memory, design, and potential. The “scrapbook” served as a conceptual anchor, elevating early vision into a tactile narrative that remains valuable in guiding future iterations. It demonstrated how narrative-first design can shape meaning, long before construction ever begins.
